STORZ COUPLING
Our Storz couplings are resistant to oil and petrol and they have NBR sealing rings. Variant: pressed component with lugs – PN 16 bar. A Storz coupling is intended for connecting hoses to fixed fittings or to each other. This type of connector is primarily used by fire brigades in many European countries and also for industrial applications. The Storz coupling is originally German and it consists of two identical parts (Storz connector halves) that can be rotated to connect them together like a bayonet fitting. A connector half has two or three protruding lugs and the same number of recesses. The number of lugs depends on the diameter. Storz fire brigade connectors are comparable to the French Guillemin couplings.
